Resolutions up to 1440 x 720 dpi – photo quality posters.

150 sheet input capacity, or rolls.

Accept various medium – paper, vinyl, fabric, canvas, mylar.

Extra set of inks, plus roll of paper and mylar.

I paid $2k for this a year ago, used it once, and left the country for a job. It worked perfectly; now the inks are dry so needs the lines drained and cleaned with a special fluid for that. I talked to Epson tech support and they are friendly and knowledgeable, and they assured that was a pretty common task for a printer thats not used frequently.

I am in prepress, graphic design, and photography.

Windows XP has a built in security center that monitors the activities or existence of Automatic Updates, Windows Firewall and virus protection provided by third party anti virus software.

When one or more security component do not been installed, or been disabled or turned off, or not working, Windows Security Center will highlight the section in yellow or red for warning and critical attention. Security Center service will also pop up a warning message with red or yellow icon that your computer might be at risk at notification area (system tray).

Security Center in Windows XP can be disabled or turned off so that the system will not monitor or check whether or not the antivirus software existed, properly installed and running, or whether the firewall and Automatic Updates been disabled or bypassed.

Click on Start button, then select Control Panel.

Select “Administrator Tools” (if you don’t see it, double click on “Performance and Maintenance” first).

Double click “Services”.

Find and double click on the service named “Security Center”. Alternatively right click on “Security Center”, and select “Properties” on right click menu.

In the “General” tab, beside the “Startup type:”, change the setting from Automatic to “Disabled”. This will permanently disable Security Center forever, even after you reboot and restart the computer system.

Google will have a bazillion different listing s for this, all complicated processes. Maybe i just got lucky with this one, but try it first!

My problem was an install from windows update the often gets corrupted, xml4. Whenever I shut down my computer, Windows says it is installing update 1 of 1. It toggled between the message of “Installing update 1 of 1″ and a don’t turn off the computer, it would shut down by itself. But it will stay on that until I force shut down, and still be there whenever I want to restart or shutdown. If this is you:

Disable automatic updates > google it

Download “msxml4-KB936181-enu.exe” from the Microsoft site, not Windows Update.

Run the program > Remove

Reboot

Run the program again > Install

Turn on Automatic Updates. I left automatic updates OFF, but the problem should be fixed so you shouldn’t have to.
